Monglian President Nambaryn
Enkhbayar will be honored at a luncheon in Chicago on October 25.
President Enkhbayar will be
in the United States as part of the ceremonies marking the 20th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two
nations.
The Chicago luncheon and speech
by President Enkhbayar is being co-sponsored by The Chicago Council
on Global Affairs and the North America-Mongolia Business Council.
The title of the President’s
address is, “Mongolia and the Future of Northeast Asia: Economics,
Politics, and Security.”
President Enkhbayar is fluent
in English and Russian. As a former literature translator, has translated
major Russian and English writers, including Tolstoy and Dickens.
