Mongolia airline's bank account robbed

On January 13, two young men withdrew US$ 225.000 and Tg 150 million in cash from MIAT airline’s account at Golomt bank Branch #2.

G.Monkhtsolmon is an IT engineer at the Golomt bank’s card center, and S.Javklan is unemployed man, and they had account number and pin code and withdrew the money.

G.Monkhtsolmon’s face was recognized on the bank’s security video camera and he was arrested in 4 hours after robbery.

These 2 men were born in 1982 and  close friends and graduated software engineer in the USA.  G.Monkhtsolmon has worked for 2 years at Golomt bank and  they planned this crime from September, 2005.

Also, two MIAT accountants are being questioned in the case, because they are the only people who know the account number and pin code for account. Golomt bank, one of Mongolia’s largest banks, rushed to release a statement that the bank’s security is reliable.
