Internationally acclaimed Mongolian
teen singer, O.Solongo, recently presented 300 musical instruments to
students of an Ulaanbaatar music and choreography college.
O.Solongo, a vocalist popular
throughout Asia, and particularly in Japan, has won two Grand Prix music
awards held in Japan and has numerous best selling recordings.
In 2001, during a foreign concert
tour, she created a fund to provide assistance to needy children. Her
first contribution was to an orphan who had lost a leg.
O.Solongo also works as a teacher
of music theory studies in Ulaanbaataar.
