Nearly 100,000 cars sold in Ulaanbaatar since start of 2008

Nearly 100,000 autos have been
brought into the country and sold in Ulaanbaatar since January 2008. 

Official data shows that there
were 26,123 cars registered in Ulaanbaatar at the beginning of the year.
During the nine months since then, nearly 100 cars were sold each day
in the city, bringing the total registered cars to 120,000 cars. 

Officials said the state took
in MNT 75.5 million for the state budget in taxes on these cars.

It would be great if the state spends this money wisely by improving roads and solving traffic congestions which cause not only annoyance but are very bad for the environment.
