Korean doctors to perform surgeries in Mongolia

In an agreement signed in Ulanbataar
last week, it was announced that Korean doctors will provide dental
and facial surgery to Mongolian patients.

The agreement calls for Korean
doctors to travel to Mongolia to perform surgeries twice each year.
Further, the Ministry of Health will coordinate the use of hospital
facilities and scheduling of patients.

The "Chuyan" voluntary
foundation of international medical doctors will provide the doctors
and pay for medical facilities and supplies for the surgeries in Mongolia.

Lastly, the "Komex"
Institute is also involved in coordinating the surgeries. The "Komex"
Korea-Mongolian exchange promotion institute contributed eye treatment
equipment to Mongolian health care facilities in past years.
