Report says flights from Ulaanbaatar to London may begin this summer

Miat Mongolian Airlines may
offer flights from Ulaanbaatar to London beginning this summer. 

Reports from Great Britain
claim Miat has filed papers to begin operating this route as early as
July 1. 

This follows meetings in London
between officials of Miat Mongolian and Mongolian aviation authorities
who met with UK CAA representatives and senior members of the Ministry
of Transport. 

Currently Miat flies twice
each week to Berlin via Moscow using an Airbus A310 jetliner. Miat would
have the option of continuing this flight to London or operating a direct
flight from Ulaanbaatar to London.
