Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. Under the 800th anniversary of the
establishment of the Great Mongolian Empire, the Prime Minister of
Mongolia Mr. M.Enkhbold has given a duty to the UB Governor s Office.
It is the duty to intensify a work to remove a rubbish in UB. A total
of six billion togrogs have been budgeted for the city s enhancement.
Of which 200 million togrogs will be spent on public toilets, 300
million togrogs - on street lighting, 600 million togrogs - on road
lighting in ger areas, and 90 million togrogs - on placing rubbish
buckets.
Additionally the Ulaanbaatar City Mayor Mr. Ts.Batbayar has informed the media on
the enhancement works planned to be carried out in Ulaanbaatar this
spring. He said that a total of 6.5 billion togrogs are budgeted for
the enhancement, construction and gardens provision works in the city.
Preparations for the activities have been provided fully. A total of
17.5 thousand tree sapling, 430 bushes, and 670 kilograms seeds of
plants are centralized in 14 organizations. The public environmental
cleaning will launch on April 22 in Sukhbaatar and Songinokhairkhan
districts. The surroundings of the Tuul River will be cleaned by the
Defense Ministry and the Ulaanbaatar City Mayor s Office.
