Hunger strikes in Mongolia come to end

Tonight G. Altan, of the Altjin Group, has struck a deal with the victims of the SAPU trade center fire.

Altan has sold all of her personal property and some of her
“belongings,” and collected Tg4 billion to pay all of the victims.
Today Altan went to the protesters gers on Sukhbaatar square to bring
them a contract and give them money to stop the hunger strike that
lasted for 4 days.....

Altan got a bank loan to compensate the shopkeepers. She is worth some $40 million, so no big deal. She should have paid them off long ago. But her business partner, PM was afraid to lose his job.
