Gambling centers in Mongolia closed

The Ministry of Justice and Home Affair of Mongolia cancelled the license off all game center’s (slot machine)  on 5 August.  In Mongolia there were 143 game centers. If they continue to run their business despite the new regulation they will pay penalty up to 5 million tugrug.
Casino have been prohibited in Mongolia since an initiative to set up a casino was associated with criminal offense and shut down. In recent years more and more centers were established where electronic gambling machines were used.
