Mongolia Appoints New Ministers for Health and Social Welfare & Labor

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. On Tuesday, a lawmaker D.Demberel was
appointed as the Minister of Social Welfare and Labor with 100% votes
of 58 parliamentarians who were at a plenary meeting of the
Parliamentary session. The candidate to the Minister of Health, MP
D.Tuya gained 96.6 percent voting. Thus, the two lawmakers have been
appointed as the Ministers. Under the Parliamentary resolution issued
on January 4, MP L.Gundalai was dismissed from his post of Minister of
Health. MP L.Odonchimed was relieved of the post of the Minister of
Social Welfare and Labor. Under the law on government, the Prime
Minister M. Enkhbold has submitted the above appointment issues to the
Parliament on the basis of his consultation with the President.
