Francis Fukuyama to give lecture on democracy in Mongolia

At the invitation of the President Elbegdorj world’s leading theorists of democracy will soon arrive in Mongolia. Mott MacDonald supports financing of US$100 million Mongolian wind farm

Construction is underway on Mongolia’s first wind power scheme which is being developed at Salkhit Uul, 75km from Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. Mott MacDonald supported the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and FMO as lender’s technical advisor on the scheme which is being developed by Newcom LLC, a Mongolian investment company.

Mongolia wins first medal at London Olympics

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ An international master of sports S.Nyam-Ochir won the first bronze medal of the London Olympic Games for Mongolia in the men's 73 kg judo event held on Monday.
    S.Nyam-Ochir has won the 20th Olympic medal for Mongolia. In the first round, S.Nyam-Ochir defeated his opponent from Germany, and then beat Volodymyr Soroka from Ukraine. In the quarterfinals, the Mongolian was defeated by Mansur Isaev who won a gold medal in this event.
