Baltika beer expected on Mongolian store shelves in May PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 07 May 2007
Mongolian consumers will find a new beer on their store shelves as early as this May.

Russia’s largest brewery, Baltika, has announced it will begin distributing its beer in Mongolia within weeks. The beer will most likely sell under the company’s Baltika or Arsenalnoe labels.

The cost for one bottle will be 1164 MNT ($1 U.S.). Baltika officials have announced they anticipate selling 150,000 liters in Mongolia by year’s end.

Baltika runs ten breweries and four malt houses throughout Russia. Though a publicly traded firm, over 80 percent of its stock is held by its own Baltic Beverages Holding AB.
