MPRP's demands from protest leader PDF Print E-mail

Local media report that the MPRP (Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party) demands MNT 30 million from S.Ganbaatar, Leader of the “Resolute movement” based on damage caused during the civil protest demonstration in the last weeks.  During these protests that were organised by the resolute movement in cooperation with other civil will movements, people attacked to MPRP building and broke windows and other party properties. The MPRP’s claims the damage totals MNT 30 million.

Besides this, Sukhbaatar district Police Force have indicated they are considering the arrest of S.Ganbaatar an the claims of organazing unauthorized protests and promoting hooliganism. In this case, he might be imprisoned for up to 5 years and have limited rights to participate into political and popular activities
