A U.S. chiropractic doctor
just returned from Mongolia, where he treated over 200 people.
Dr. Stuart Garner of New Jersey,
USA, was invited to Mongolia by his missionary brother, Spencer, who
is currently working in Mongolia.
Dr. Garner came to Mongolia
with his wife and their daughter. Chiropractic physicians often treat
muscular and skeletal imperfections in patients.
"Church leaders arranged
homes for me to visit and translators to help with the process. So Monday-through-Wednesday
I traveled to homes to treat people. The first day I treated 24 people
in 11 homes, next day 53 in nine homes, third day 37 in 10 homes,"
Dr. Garner told The Bridgeton News.
The final count of Mongolians
treated by Dr. Garner was over 200, including a doctor, her staff and
several patients in her clinic.
"It was a humbling experience
to see the grateful Mongolian people open their homes, share their food
and thank us for helping them. There were plenty of testimonials from
those we helped. Many visited the apartment or stopped us on the streets
to thank us. They're very happy people who were receptive to being adjusted,
many remarking about how much better they felt. The people were gracious.
They wanted to know when we were coming back," said Dr. Garner.
