“These initial results validate the historic Soviet reporting of significant…..uranium mineralization at both properties,” the company noted in a written statement. 

Uranium deposits at the sites were found to be 150 to 300 meters wide, 50 to 100 meters long and from 0.1 to 7.65 meters thick. Additionally, earlier estimates of 10,000 tons of uranium at Ulaan Nuur and 2,200 tons at Ingiin-Nars may have to be revised upward.
