ImageMongolian sports officials have concluded a conference in China to learn how to detect and prevent athletes from using illegal drugs to enhance their performance.

Called the Seminar on Anti-Doping for Asia Countries Olympic Committees, sports officials studied the history and trends of the international anti-doping fight, new techniques for testing athletes, anti-drug programs used in China and programs to be in force prior during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

"We would like to help train anti-doping workers in Asia, who will be like seeds to grow into local anti-doping powers," Wang Xinzhai, deputy office director of the China Olympic Committee Anti-Doping Commission told the Xinhua News Agency.

"It is one way that we fulfill our responsibility and commitment to the world's anti-doping fight," he added.
