Ecological conference at National University: Call for Papers PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 06 February 2008
ImageThe National University of Mongolia is organizing a conference "Fundamental and Applied Issues of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology"
to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of its Department of Ecology. Potential participants are invited to submit papers for a Contributed
Oral or Poster presentation at the 20th Anniversary Conference. The conference will be held on Friday April 25, 2008, in Ulaanbaatar at
the National University of Mongolia. Papers and posters that address the conference theme, "Fundamental and Applied Issues of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology", are especially encouraged, but submissions may address any aspect of ecology, evolution and their applications, including case studies in Mongolia. We also welcome submissions reporting interdisciplinary work, that address communication with broad audiences, or that explore ways of teaching ecology at any level. Working language of the conference will be English and Mongolian. Paper submissions are due on April 4, 2008. Authors of selected papers will be invited to present their paper at the conference. All submitted papers will have been printed at the time of conference. Information regarding the criteria, the submission process, attendance fee and the cancellation policy are included in the Call for Papers (http://www.biology.num.edu.mn/ecology_conference/index.html). Please adhere to these guidelines closely.

This is a great idea and I am sure that the papers will be very interesting. I wish we could be there in April, but we will have to wait until June to visit NUM!
