A school of social work has been opened in Ulaanbaatur as a cooperative effort of the Czech Labor and Social Affairs Ministry and Czech Charity and the Catholic diocese charity in Litomerice, north Bohemia.

Czechoslovokia has provided a variety of aid to Mongolia over the past two decades. The center for social work will provide instruction for students, teachers and others interested in social work.

Also, thousands of Mongolians have studied in Czechoslovakia during recent years. It is believed as many as 10,000 Mongolians speak Czech.

Recent statistics indicate some 7,000 Mongolians currently work in the Czech Republic.
