Eight Mongolians qualify to compete in Beijing Olympics

A preliminary roster of Mongolian
athletes chosen to compete in the 2008 summer Beijing Olympics has been
released.
Competing in competitive shooting
will be O. Gundegmaa, Z. Batkhyag, and Ts. Munkhzul. Mongolia will be
represented by B. Batzorig and B. Naranbaatar in free style and Greco
wrestling.
Lastly, Mongolia’s Kh. Tsagaanbaatar
will compete in Olympic judo, E. Badar-Uugan in boxing and B. Ser-Od
will run the 26 mile marathon.
It has also been reported that
Mongolian women are preparing to take part in the Asian Lifting Championship.
