Museum set on fire and guard killed in Zavkhan Aimag, Mongolia PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 15 February 2006
On 13 January, a night guard at the museum of Zavkhan province was murdered by two criminals who stole some of the most valuable objects of museum's collections such as khalkha woman's hairdresses, belts and rare coral mask of Jamsran. They even set the museum on fire to erase any possible traces. But province's fire station and people extinguished fire promptly.

When the police captured two criminals, they were burying guard corpse. The rare coral mask of Jamsran is one of the masks which is only four in Mongolia.
