Mongolia attends Asian meeting on nuclear sciences |

Mongolia was in attendance
this week in Hanoi to review the implementation of the Regional Cooperative
Agreement on nuclear science.
Mongolia is among 17 Asian
countries which signed the pact designed to assist research, development
and training related to nuclear science and technology for Asia and
the Pacific.
The meeting in Vietnam reviewed
issues ranging from food safety, nutrition, healthcare, industrial development,
nuclear safety and environmental protection.
Besides Mongolia, other countries
to sign the pact are Australia, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, South
Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines,
Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
