Russia plans on exporting 100,000
tons of wheat to Mongolia.
Speaking on Friday, Russian
Prime-Minister Victor Zubkov confirmed the massive wheat deal.
Additionally, reports indicate
Mongolia will be listed as a preferential customer of Russia, resulting
in export taxes being waived, according to Aleksey Gordeev, Russian
Minister of Agriculture.
Zubkov noted that the Russian
government finalized the wheat export agreement to Mongolia on April
10. The Russian Prime Minister further said January wheat exports to
Mongolia had been 7,000 tons.
