German government to provide social assistance to Mongolians PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 15 May 2008
A German delegation is meeting with Mongolian officials in Ulaanbaatar this week.

Franz Toennes, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Franz, is meeting with officials of Mongolia’s Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor.

It is believed that the visit will conclude with a memorandum stipulating that the German government will assist in programs for disabled citizens and create a second program for assisting in vocational training for Mongolians under 35 years old.

The two ministries have been meeting since 1990. Currently, the German government is providing assistance in creating a labor exchange in rural Mongolia.
