The city of Denver, USA has
dedicated a city park in honor of Mongolia.
City of Ulaanbaatar Park, planned
for seven years, was officially opened this month. Ulaanbaatar became
a sister city to Denver in 2001.
Plans for the park include
displaying a 15-foot Tulga sculpture by Mongolian artist Tsogo Mijid.
The tulga is the hearth that was traditionally the center of Mongolian
houses.

ceremony was Deputy Chief of the Mongolian Mission, Mr. Odonjil Banzragch
and Batbayar Lkhamjar, president of the Mongolian Community Association
in Denver.
According to officials, Denver
