Ulaanbaatar citizens clear garbage from Selbe River PDF Print E-mail

ImageUlaanbaatar residents continue to participate in a variety of projects to improve the country’s environment. 

A group of 280 residents of the Sukhbaatar district recently spent one month clearing debris in the Selbe River and on its shore. 

In a program entitled ''Civil involvement in a healthy environment'' citizens cleared over 100 kilograms of accumulated garbage. In fact, four trucks were needed to haul away the trash. 

Some area businesses also assisted in the cleanup.
