Protesters  have set fire on the MPRP building in Mongolia s capital ulaanbaatar. Fire trucks are trying to get near the site

Mongolia Web News, Ulaanbaatar - The MPRP is being accused of influencing the election results of last Sunday. Although international observers including the Asia Foundation have declared that the voting happened ina a free and legit way aligations are now aimed at the MPRP. The Democratic Party is suggesting that the MPRP has had control of polling stations by having party members as director. People have gathered at the MPRP headquarters, just off the central Sukhbaatar Square as well as at the office of the election committee.
Mongolia has seen regular popular protest in recent years. The most recent protests were directed against international mining practises, but in 2006 the MPRP was critized for leaving the excisting coalition cabinet and starting a new government withouth the consent of the Democratic Party. Current party leader Elbegdorj was austed as prime minister and the MPRP was able to start a new cabinet with a range of coalition partners.
