Election Results
Yesterday, at last the official election reults were announced. The final number of seats for the MPRP were set at 47, even more than previously anounced. Most striking is that smaller parties and independent candidates were only able to secure a couple of seats with the rest of the seats for the DP (Democratic Party)

The Bullets
Minister Munkh-Orgil has announced that real bullets might have been used by the police force in the crackdown of violence on Tuesday night. People with ties to the police on the other hand mention that actually 2 policemen have died during the riots. The ministry spokesperson was not available for comments.

Internet
Websites are being restricted in user interaction. After posting stories on the protests, one of the major websites received a phone call demanding to disable user comments. "I feel like we are in China," the webmaster says, referring to the strict governmental control on media there.

Elbegdorj
The Unuudur newspaper and other media have trashed Elbegdorj and his involvement in the riots. If the election results remain as they are he will be ousted as the democratic party leader. He himself has in a desperate attempt wrote a lenghty email to foreign press painting the MPRP as a totalitarian party, but the email seems to have so many factual errors that it might only harm his case even more.

It's high time to wake up to Elbegdorj's unethical acts.
