Ulaanbaatar will host an international sumo wrestling tournament in August.

The Japanese sumo delegation will be led by Mongol-born champion Yokozuna Asashoryu during a two-day exhibition to be held August 27-28 in the Asa Circus.

Some 20 sumo wrestlers are scheduled to compete in the tournament.

Prior to the competition, Mongolian President N.Enkhbayar will host a formal banquet for the wrestlers. Up to 500 people are expected to attend the dinner.
