Polo Resources has begun a second drill program at its Mongolian Val Coal Project.

Located in the South Gobi, the drill program will include completing 25 200 meter deep drill holes in 12 sections along eight kilometers of outcrop.

The Val Coal Project covers 22,089 hectares and is located 262 kilometers west of one of the world’s largest coking coal site at Tavan Tolgoi.

Neil Herbert, Deputy Chairman of Polo Resources, said: “We are very pleased to have begun a second drill program in South Gobi….Initial exploration of the Val coal project has been encouraging.”
