Prince of Denmark in Mongolia to celebrate 40 years of Mongolian-Danish relations |

Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark,
arrived Wednesday in Ulaanbaatar.
Officially, the visit is meant
to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Mongolian-Danish diplomatic relations.
The Prince will meet with top
government officials, including the President and the Prime Minister.
He will also visit the Mongolian-Danish society.
An official lunch will be held
during the visit in the Ikh Tenger complex.
On Thursday, Prince Frederik
will attend a Mongolian-Danish meeting regarding the development of
energy. Then, he will visit the University of Education, where he will
be granted a title of Honorary Doctor.
Mongolia and Denmark established
diplomatic ties in 1968, with trade and economic relations beginning
in the 1970s. Mongolia imports agricultural and food production equipment
from Denmark and exports hand sewn products, knitwear and shoes.
