The Unification Church is organizing the Global Peace Festival in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia on September 9th.
Members of the unification Curch, often referred to as the "Moonies", have been active in promoting the event around the city. Major websites carried banners on the festival and an army of volunteers
The Unification Church owes its nickname to its founder Sun Myung Moon. The organization is controversial for practices including mass arranged marriages.
Moon visited Mongolia October 2005. He came to Ulaanbaatar with his wife Hak Ja Han Moon and gave a speech entitled: “Strong family life is the true role model for peace and harmony.”
Moon openly criticizes the UN and saying that "over 200 member countries represents their own petty interests, doing nothing more than serving its benefits." He also spoke in Mongolia of his plans on the project of linking North America and Russia by constructing a bridge over Bering Strait; from Africa to Santiago, Chile; London, England to New York, America by constructing the Peace Bridge and creating a highway connecting the world.

I don't subscribe to your jesus argument: that he was honoured more when he was dead doesnt say anything about how other people will be viewed.
