Monaco's Prince Albert ends 2-day visit to Mongolia PDF Print E-mail

Prince Albert II of Monaco concluded a two-day visit on Saturday. The Prince, the head of state of Monaco, met with Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar after arriving on Friday. An outcome of the Friday meeting was the signing of an agreement to increase joint cooperation in cultural exchanges and in environmental protection.The visit of Prince Albert follows Mongolia and Monaco signing diplomatic relations this past May.

Akira KAMIMURA, lecturer, faculty of Mongolian studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies launched an innovative website on old Mongolian manuscripts maps in cooperation with the state archive of Mongolia. It contains 16 precious maps which are stored at the state archive for academic use. The oldest map was estimated being made in 1803-1805.
