The Ministry of Food and Agriculture plans to implement a Program Pure
Ecological Products with the purpose of raising a prestige of
traditional and new products made in Mongolia, ensuring the products
quality and safety, and creating the national best brands. Kinds and
quality of the Mongolian national products have been increased in
recent years as a result of the introduction of the latest techniques
and technologies and of foreign investment made into the technological
renovation. In 2005, the production of milk and milk products increased
by 23.1 percent, of sausages - by 10.6, and of confectionary - by 15.1
percent against the previous year.
