6th Asian Women Parliamentarians and Ministers Conference meets this week in Mongolia PDF Print E-mail

Ulaanbaatar will host the 6th Asian Women Parliamentarians and Ministers Conference on 23-24 September. 

Women who are members of parliaments or ministers in 70 countries will be represented at the conference. 

The theme for the conference will be discussing health and gender related issues in enforcing the Health Millennium Development Goals. Among the goals of the program, sponsored by the World Health Organization, are to reduce poverty and hunger and to tackle ill-health, gender inequality, lack of education, lack of access to clean water and environmental degradation.
