Monday, 06 October 2008

Mongolia will host an international poetry festival on October 7.

Noted writers and poets will gather in Ulaanbaatar for the festival. Their meeting will be part of the 80th anniversary celebrations of the Confederation of Mongolian Writers.

The festival will be the third such conference, the first being held in 1999 in Mongolia and the second in 2005 in Taipei.

Besides honoring Mongolian poets, participants will also include a number of literature masters and state prize holders from various countries.
