World Mongolian convention concludes in Vienna PDF Print E-mail

Mongolians from throughout the world attended the third World Mongolians convention November 3-4 in Vienna.
The focus of the gathering, according to officials, was seeking ways to protect the Mongolian language, culture and customs, improve Mongolia's educational system and boost the industrial and tourism industries in Mongolia.  
During the convention, a letter from Mongolian President N. Enkhbayar was read. Also, a member of the Vienna city parliament, Elizabeth Vitouchek, welcomed the group to the Austrian capital.
Held simultaneously, a meeting was organized to create contacts between businesses in Mongolia, Austria, and Russia.
