New maternity hospital to be built in Ulaanbaatar PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 16 January 2009
ImageConstruction will begin this spring on Ulaanbaatar’s fourth maternity hospital.

Officials believe it will take two years to complete construction of the 120 bed hospital. It is to be located in Yarmag's new residential area in Khan-Uul district.

Officials said the new maternity hospital would be built to international standards.

Since 1998 the nation’s birth rate has doubled, creating the need for an additional hospital.
