New Camel Head Fiddle Launched at Polo competition PDF Print E-mail

Mongolian first Camel head fiddle (Temeen Khuur) was made on the order of the Mongolian Camel Polo association. The Camel head fiddle’ shape is same as a horse head fiddle, exept for the head that has been made like a camel. The fiddle is being launched at the “Camel Polo-2006’ winter competition which is currently held in the Dundgobi povince of Mongolia.
It is hoped that this 2 string instrument will be a mongolia’s pride just like the national morin khuur, of which a giant version was introduced recently.
