Wireless Digital TV to come to Mongolia PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 15 March 2006
Yangtze Telecom Corp, a canadian company mainly investing in China, will invest to set up a wireless digital TV network in Mongolia. The wideness and sparse population of Mongolia, would make it an ideal market for digital tv. No comments are made of the end users costs for the new operation, on which much of it's succes might depend.

"Much like the satellite data broadcast network in distance education, the Wireless Digital Network we will build and operate in Mongolia allows the transmission of TV signals or digitized education content. " said Emily Chen, President of Yangtze Telecom. "Furthermore, this is an important first step in expanding our digital broadcasting business outside of China."
