Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is to visit Mongolia on March 20.
"The negotiations will address the further development of the traditionally friendly Russian-Mongolian relations, the situation in the world, the Asia-Pacific region and northeast Asia," says a Russian Foreign Ministry Statement published on Friday.
Special attention will be paid to the issue of intensifying trade and economic cooperation, the statement says. In recent news Russian banks have experessed their interest in the emerging Mongolian oil industry. Other areas of cooperation include Mongolia's railway and mining.
