Glenn Mullin meets President Enkhbayar PDF Print E-mail

President Mr. N.Enkhbayar held a meeting today with Glenn Mullin, the Buddhist religion and Tibetan expert. At the meeting, Mr. Enkhbayar made a briefing on the Mongolian Government policy on religion and exchanged views with the expert on issues related to the protection and safekeeping of unique historic and cultural values to publicize Mongolian culture to the worldwide. G.Mullen is anxious the about illegal trade of unique works of the ancient cultural heritage of Mongolia and expressed an importance of opening an exhibition of antiques, which are kept in the funds of Mongolian museums, in foreign countries to intensify the foreign advertisement activities of Mongolia. He informed the President of his cooperation with the UNESCO for the restoration of Gobi Noyon Khutugtu Danzanravkaa temple and museums keeping unique cultural heritage, and the improvement of safekeeping conditions of the values.
