In light of 70th anniversary of the Mongolian Cinema, the artist
G. Jigjidsuren is compiling the " Encyclopaedia of Mongolian
movies" The
book includes biographies, pictures and introductions of the
people involved: producers, cameramen, composers,
singers, as well as cultural organizations starting with the first
Mongolian theater "Bombogor nogoon". The Encyclopaedia covers the total
of 289 movies that were produced in Mongolia from 1936 until 2000. The 70th anniversary of Mongolian Cinema will be held on December, 25.
