Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. In connection with the nowadays strong struggle on the Sukhbaatar Square, the Mongolian Prime Minister Mr. N.Enkhbold received Wednesday Director General of the Altjin company, G.Altan and the delegates of the former stallholders of the SAPU trade center--the "Altjin" s branch which was completely destroyed in the fire three months ago--who are demanding compensations. At present, 14 stallholders are undertaking a hunger strike on the Sukhbaatar Square with the aim to make either state authorities or G.Altan give them the reimbursement (more than 740 people suffer loss of from 44 million to 28 thousand togrogs as estimated). At the meeting, Mr. Enkhbold mentioned that three Cabinet members met the strikers and exchanged views with them how to solve the problem by taking all possible measures. The Premier strongly urged G.Altan to carry out every efficient activity in order to pay off the damage caused to the stallholders in the nearest time. The director G.Altan said her Altjin Company has collected approximately 2.3 billion togrogs by taking loans from several banks in order to 100 percent pay off the damage of the stallholders, some of whom are overestimating their loss, and added with all responsibility that the Company will shortly issue the reimbursement.
