Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. The state ceremony will be held on May 22 in Khentii Aimag to worship the sky above the Burkhan Khaldun Mountain, which has been worshipped from the period of Chinggis Khan. The Aimag Khural (Assembly) of Citizens Representatives has issued a resolution on the worship ceremony under the plan for the 800th anniversary celebration of the Great Mongol Empire and the 2004 order by the Mongolian President on the performance to worship the mountains. Under the resolution, a Commission headed by the Aimag Governor is ordered to provide preparation for the worship ceremony relaying on the ancient custom and traditions.
