Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. The President of Kazakhstan, Mr. N.Nazarbaev has sent an invitation to Mongolian President Mr. N.Enkhbayar to attend the Second Summit Meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). The Summit Meeting will take place on June 17, 2006 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The CICA was first initiated by the Kazakh President at a regular session of the UN General Assembly in October 1992 with the intention of providing the stability in Asia, extending the range of common interests of its member countries, and solving the pressing issues by joint efforts. The CICA First Summit Meeting was held on June 4, 2002. In 2001, Mongolia joined CICA, which has 16 member countries such as Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Pakistan, Russia and others.
