Mongolia Faces Another Bankruptcy: Clients Take Staff Hostage PDF Print E-mail

Mongolia Web News, Ulaanbaatar. Even though the “Construction Development Fund” saving and loans association did not announce their bankruptcy officially, it;s clients suspected something was wrong there. Customers of the association took its staff as hostages and sealed computers and safes. The  reason their did this move is just a few days one of the biggest  saving and loans association “Globe Credit” went bankrupt but before anyone could access its computers someone deleted most important files.     

 In the “Construction Development Fund” saving and loans association 1784 members saved more a total of more than 14 billion (about US $14 million) tugrug.

They are still searching the director of this non-banking financial institution.
