The new Ozeki, Hakuho said, "I want to give my all in the May Tournament so I hope all of you will be cheering me on". During his sumo career in the makuuchi, he received three Outstanding Performance Awards, one Fighting Spirit Prize, two Technique Prizes and one Kimboshi (gold star) that is awarded to a lower-ranked wrestler who manages to upset a Yokozuna.Wrestlers from Mongolia have been dominating on the Japanese professional sumo-wrestling arena.
