Dolls Exhibition at National Museum of Mongolian History PDF Print E-mail

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSANME/. For the 800th anniversary celebration of the Great Mongol Empire, an exhibition of wooden dolls featuring the national custom of Mongolians was opened on Thursday in the Mongol Costume Museum in UB by the Geo Mandal Steppe Art company. The exhibition displays various interesting dolls such as those representing family members of Chinggis Khan and wives of the 13th century s period, also chess and Buddhist religious materials. The exhibition to last till May 14 provides opportunities for purchasing dolls.
