Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. The state ceremony was held on Monday in Khentii Aimag to worship the Burkhan Khaldun Mountain, the great veneration of the Mongolian nation. The ceremony arranged at 2,662 meter height of the Mountain was attended by the Mongolian President Mr. N.Enkhbayar. In his speech, the President said that the worship ceremony of the Burkhan Khaldun Mountain has been performed 2000 years ago. The Burkhan Khaldun Mountain and the mountain ranges in Khentii Aimag became the source of the life, struggle, success, and victory of the Millennium Man - Great Chinggis Khan. It is pleasant to recall the scientific works and source notes of Mongolian and foreign scholars, experts, and travelers, which represent that Chinggis Khan takes the great energy, cheerfulness, and talent from the Mountain and achieved the victory. The worship ceremony is closely connected with the state policy and desire of the nation to restore the tradition of their ancestors, who well protected the surrounding environment for passing on the future generation and attract attention of each Mongolian to this important goal.
