World Bank Director Visits Mongolia |

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. The World Bank country executive director for
Mongolia Mr. Jun Kun Choi is paying a visit to Mongolia starting from
July 1, 2006 During his five-day visit, Mr. Choi will meet Mongolian
Parliament Speaker, Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and other
officials. Besides, he will witness with the process of the project
being carried out by the World Bank in Tov Province and the activities
of the Public Information Center that was jointly established in 2004
by the Open Society Forum, the Asian Development Bank, and the USAID. Additionally Mr. Choi will pay a visit to the second fase of the Urban Services Improvement Project, the was carried out under a Dutch grant of the Netherlands Mongolia Trust Fund for Environmental reform. Part of this visit includes a meeting hosetd by Vice-Khamba Lama Amgalan of Gandantegchenlin Monastery, to discuss the Buddhist involvement in the World Bank's environmental program.
